A Classical Progression
The foundational years focus on absorbing the 'grammar'—the building blocks—of each subject. Students master phonics, foundational mathematics, historical timelines, and introductory Latin through memorization, recitation, and song.
As students naturally become more argumentative, we teach them how to argue well. The focus shifts to formal logic, understanding the 'why' behind historical events, scientific methods, and mathematical proofs.
The culmination of the classical education. Students learn to express themselves with eloquence and persuasion. Seminars replace lectures, and students are expected to engage deeply with original texts and defend their theses.
